About Me
Economics and Finance become much more rewarding when the ideas finally click. I help students turn confusion into understanding through clear explanations, practical examples and tuition built around their goals. Whether you want to strengthen your foundations, tackle demanding quantitative topics or prepare more confidently for assessments, I offer focused support that meets you where you are.
I am an economist and university lecturer with a PhD in Economics, an MPhil in Finance and postgraduate qualifications in teaching and research methodology. As a Certified Management and Business Educator, I combine subject expertise with a strong commitment to effective teaching. My research and consultancy experience also help me show how the concepts you study apply to real economic and business decisions.

Tutor Experience

I have tutored Economics and Finance since 2011 and held university teaching roles since 2018, supporting students from A-level and foundation through to undergraduate and postgraduate study.
My teaching covers Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Statistics, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Business and Research Methods. Whether you are preparing for an exam, working through a challenging module or trying to understand a quantitative method, our sessions focus on what you need to move forward. Expect clear explanations, practical examples and guided exercises that help you understand both how a method works and when to use it.
For dissertation students, I bring experience of supervising 184 dissertations and one consultancy project, and examining 338 dissertations and projects. I can help you sharpen your research question, understand your methodological choices, make sense of your analysis and strengthen your interpretation of results. You benefit from an experienced supervisor and examiner’s perspective while developing your own research skills.
Every session starts with your priorities. Together, we identify gaps in your understanding and work through them at a pace that suits you. The aim is lasting understanding, stronger analytical skills and the confidence to tackle your next academic challenge independently.
