I have a wealth of experience as a teacher and have been able to cultivate a real passion for teaching over the course of my career. My extensive travels and exposure to diverse cultures have undoubtedly given me a unique perspective that brings to my teaching.
I take great joy in helping students learn and I derive a lot of satisfaction from seeing them engaged and interested in my lessons.
I constantly look for innovative and new ways to challenge myself and engage my students.
I have taught Science (biology, physics and chemistry) for Key stage 3, 4 and 5. I helped my students understand scientific concepts and principles, develop laboratory skills, and engage in science inquiry. I have prepared my students for the future by fostering a love of learning and appreciation for the natural world. I have also encouraged students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields, which are critical for the growth and development of our society.
I use visuals (pictures, diagrams, videos,..) to break up lectures and keep students engaged. I also encourage discussion to help my students think critically and see how concepts apply to real life situations.
the use of technology makes learning more engaging and interactive and by using multiple formative assessment techniques I assess my student's understanding and reflect on it.
I have worked in different schools in the UK and abroad. I have taught the British curriculum (GCSE) and the IB curriculum (MYP).
I have an extensive teaching experience at the following schools:
-The Deanery CE Academy (UK): Jan 2023-present
-Swindon Academy (UK): Mar 2021-Apr 2022

Manar is a fantastic teacher. She is very well prepared and explains clearly and in depth. Our daughter loves her lessons and Manar made her GCSE revision a lot less stressful.
