I am a qualified architect, chartered Construction Manager, and Digital Construction Consultant with over 19 years of experience in the AEC industry. My focus for the past decade has been on Building Information Modelling (BIM), a powerful tool that is transforming the way buildings are designed, constructed, and managed. As an expert in BIM implementation and integration, I am excited to share my knowledge and experience with you.
In addition to my expertise in BIM, I am also interested in emerging technologies such as Blockchain and IoT and their potential applications within the construction industry. I am currently pursuing a PhD related to these subjects, and I am eager to share my insights with you.
Whether you are a student looking to enhance your skills and knowledge, or a professional seeking to stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving industry, I am here to help. Let's work together to explore the world of digital construction and discover the endless possibilities of the future of AEC.
I am thrilled to be joining the Spires platform as a new member and I am excited to begin this journey of sharing my knowledge and expertise with others. In addition to my experience in the AEC industry, I have been working as a private tutor since 2003, with an estimated 5000 hours of experience, providing personalised support to students seeking to improve their academic performance. This has allowed me to work with a diverse range of learners and develop effective teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Since 2021, I have also worked as a Lecturer and Master's degree supervisor at the University of Portsmouth. In this role, I have had the privilege of supporting MSc students with their dissertations, guiding them through the research process and providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their academic goals.
As an experienced educator, I am committed to providing high-quality, student-centred instruction that promotes critical thinking and fosters a love of learning. Whether working with undergraduate or postgraduate students, my goal is always to help them develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their academic and professional pursuits.
I am excited to bring my expertise in the AEC industry and my passion for teaching to this platform, and I look forward to working with students to help them achieve their full potential.
