Empathetic, committed and passionate. Over 6000 hours of tutoring experience. Fluent in English, Spanish and French. My approach is mostly based on briefly discussing the theory and then placing the majority of the time of the session on doing exercises. Really looking forward to booking our first session!
MSc in Materials Engineering with a Major in Metals and Ceramics. Minor in 3D printing. Currently conducting research in Molecular Dynamics simulations for the master's thesis

My name is Jorge Potti, I am 24 years old and I am Spanish. I have lived in Madrid for a long period of my life but also, but I went to school in the UK, did my Erasmus in Poland, and moved to Belgium to get my Master's degree in Materials Engineering at KU Leuven. I consider myself an empathetic, committed, and easygoing tutor. I am passionate about education because I believe it is the one master key to resolving most of the issues in the world nowadays. I am fluent in English, French, and Spanish, which is my mother tongue
Started working as a private tutor in 2016. Since then, I have worked over 5000 hours, taught over 100 students and I have acquired a great level of expertise in online tutoring during the pandemic. The most important aspect to me is keeping the student motivated and connecting properly with them to help them achieve their best results. In my sessions, lots of exercises will be done to put into practice the knowledge of the student
Math: extensive experience in preparing students for GCSEs and A-levels. Specially keen on functions analysis, derivatives, integrals, and trigonometry. If I'm honest, I'm not too big of a fan of statistics but I can still help out
Physics: also extensive experience in preparing students for GCSEs and A-levels. It has always been my favourite subject. All areas of it interest me tremendously and I would love to share my enthusiasm with you
Chemistry: during 6th form, Chemistry was not really my cup of tea but when I got into Materials Engineering at university, Chemistry was necessary and I started growing into it. Through tutoring other students I keep reminding myself why during the teenage years everybody hates it but in the end, just like everything, clarity and understanding of the subject are key to avoiding the frustration
Thank you Jorge.
