About Me
My name is Luis and I have been a dedicated IB Humanities teacher for almost a decade. I teach both DP and MYP Individuals and Societies, where my special focus is on preparing students for a successful E-Assessment and final Diploma exams with excellent results beyond expectations.
Tutor Experience
I have had the privilege of immersing myself in the field of teaching for almost a decade. I am currently involved in various activities related to the development of the IB programme, including as an Official Workshop Leader and Examiner for the Global Politics subject, and I must say that I am grateful for the remarkable trust placed in me by the IBO and the various international schools with which I have worked.
I am currently the main coordinator for the MYP Personal Project programme. I teach both DP and MYP Individuals and Societies, where I prepare students for a successful E-Assessment and final Diploma Exams. In addition, the IB results since 2018 have been excellent, exceeding the school's expectations.
My tutoring experience started 6 years ago when I worked in an international school in Malaysia. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with various DP and MYP students who needed support in different areas. At that time I was fully involved in the MYP programme, working as an Individual and Societies teacher and Personal Project Coordinator.
Later I moved to Spain and since then my main focus has also been Global Politics and History. I have worked with students from all over the world, so I understand all the different academic demands that these subjects require.
I have a clear goal in mind to be more than suitable for tutoring as I have years of experience with really good results.
