I have over twenty years experience teaching PE at three outstanding schools. I also teach KS3 History and Geography which I really enjoy.
I live in Madrid, Spain with my wife (who is also a tutor), son and dog and teach at a British International School.
In my free time I love being outside: cycling (road and mountain), walking my dog, skiing, snow boarding, surfing and playing tennis and padel.
I have been teaching GCSE and A Level PE exam classes since 2002 when I started teaching.
This has included OCR, AQA and Pearson Edxecel exam boards.
My first teaching post was at Haberdashers Adams in Shropshire which is a boys' selective grammar school. I then moved to Harrogate Grammar School in Yorkshire which is a large mixed comprehensive. I currently teach at King's College La Moraleja in Madrid, Spain which is a private British international school.
I started tutoring in person in 2014 on an ad hoc basis through referrals whilst living in the UK.
In 2019 after teaching online for several months during a very strict lock down in Spain, I experienced the benefits and success of online tutoring and have since been tutoring online to UK based students.
I have taught/teach all areas of GCSE and A Level PE although my particular expertise in A Level are social, cultural and historical aspects, anatomy and physiology and skill acquisition.
I have taught/tutored across OCR, AQA and Pearson Edexcel exam boards
