About Me
I am an experienced Mathematics teacher and I have just joined this site as of June 2023.
As part of my teaching at international schools, I taught IB DP Mathematics, Mathematical studies standard level and Cambridge AS level Math.
As hobbies, I enjoy art, reading, classical guitar and sports.
Tutor Experience
I have been teaching Mathematics since 1997.
During this period, I have taught Mathematics in vastly different educational systems.
I have started teaching at a school for gifted students in Oklahoma, USA courses such as PreCalculus, Calculus, Introduction to Differential Equations and Number Theory.
I continued teaching IB and Cambridge Mathematics at three private schools in Europe.
I currently teach Mathematics at a public school in Romania.
I enjoy teaching and explaining mathematical concepts because I love learning and solving problems.
My pedagogical approach is to explain the why and the how of a concept and much less the what, that is, I do not encourage rote memorization but rather a clear and logical understanding of the concepts.
