I grew up with a love of literature and a curiosity about the world, which naturally led me to study English and Education at Leeds Metropolitan University and Teacher Training College in Poland. Since then, my teaching journey has taken me across Africa, Asia, Europe, and South America, giving me a deep understanding of international education and diverse student needs.

I have been teaching English for over 17 years, including many years delivering the IB MYP and DP English A courses, and I have also served as an IB English A examiner. I particularly enjoy supporting students in developing critical thinking, analytical skills, and a lifelong love of literature, while helping them achieve their full academic potential.

Beyond the classroom, I have coordinated and delivered volunteering and educational projects worldwide, including mentoring and coaching teachers in Uganda and Tanzania, leading INSET sessions to enhance subject knowledge, pedagogy, and literacy strategies. I have also run clubs and programs in drama, debate, poetry, and community reading, helping students connect learning with real-world experiences.

I now tutor online, bringing my international experience, passion for literature, and expertise in IB and GCSE English to students around the world. Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring the arts, reading widely, and sharing stories from my travels.

I specialise in IB DP & MYP English A, TOK, and GCSE/iGCSE English, bringing over 17 years of international teaching experience to my online tutoring. My online tutoring sessions are interactive and fully tailored to each student. I combine structured guidance with creative approaches—using discussion, analysis, debate, and digital tools—to make literature, TOK, and language concepts engaging and accessible. I offer both 1:1 tutoring and small group sessions, ensuring every student gets personalised attention and can learn at their own pace.

As an IB English A examiner, I understand exactly what it takes to excel, and I also enjoy coaching teachers through professional development workshops in countries including Uganda and Tanzania. My goal is to create lessons that not only improve grades but also inspire curiosity, foster independent thinking, and help students connect literature and TOK concepts to the wider world.
