Experienced secondary teacher. History and current affairs are my passion. I can teach geography and have an understanding of the British, French and IBDP curriculums as well as AP European History. Consistently work with high achieving students and average a grade 6 in IBDP HL history teaching across 6 years with many students attaining a grade 7 and going onto prestigious universities.

I love teaching history. I practise yoga and spending time with my family and pets. I have travelled and love Indian food and culture. I am an avid reader of historical and crime fiction.
I qualified QTS in 2012 and taught for 6 years in the British system teaching GCSE and A Level. I moved over to teach in the independent sector and have been working at a French/English bilingual international school for the past 7 years. I have an understanding of the French National curriculum and exams in History/Geography, I teach History at IBDP level as well as History/Geography and CdM at Lycée level in the international section. I teach in English and all tutoring would be conducted in English. I have previously taught citizenship and have tutored informally at GCSE History level. I am also about to start teaching AP European History and have undertaken College Board endorsed training.
