About Me
I am a fully qualified teacher and now tutor who aims to form positive relations with students whilst securing academic success. I am a patient and kind tutor who recently left teaching in a classroom to tutor full time. I have lots of experience teaching students of a range of abilities including with special needs and emotional or mental health needs. I taught History in two secondary schools up to GCSE level and have tutored for maths up to foundation GCSE level. I am very creative and love to draw, paint and make music in my own time. I love working with children and young people and helping them to achieve their goals.
Tutor Experience
I have taught History in two secondary school up to GCSE level and now tutor maths and history full time. My tutoring approach is to work with the student and target key areas of development through assessment in order to reach their goals. For GCSE level I address any content based gaps in knowledge and crucially I teach students how to answer exam questions and develop methods to effectively hit the key points on the mark schemes and secure the most marks possible.
