About Me

I see myself as a creative and curious person, with a positive outlook on both learning and life. Growing up in Italy and later studying in Scotland - a new and unfamiliar environment at the time - taught me how to adapt, make any place feel like home, and create opportunities that fuel my love for continuous learning.

A lifelong reader, I bring my passion for books into the classroom. I often introduce students - especially those who struggle with writing - to a variety of texts that inspire and engage them. My aim is not only to support them in passing exams, but also to help them develop transferable skills that extend far beyond English and literature.

Tutor Experience

I passionately teach English Language and Literature with a focus on IB, IGCSE/GCSE. Over the years, I’ve guided students through essay writing, unseen poetry and prose, and exam preparation, helping them build confidence as well as strong analytical skills.

I graduated with First-Class Honours in Psychology from the University of Aberdeen, where I developed the research and critical thinking skills that now shape my teaching style. Beyond academia, I’ve worked as a ghostwriter and translator - experiences that strengthened my understanding of how language works in practice, from interpretation to expression.

My students come from a wide range of cultural and educational backgrounds, and I make it a point to adapt lessons to their needs. Whether we’re unpacking a complex text, sharpening essay structure, or practicing for exams, I aim to keep lessons clear, engaging, and motivating. Above all, I want students not just to succeed in their assessments, but also to discover the enjoyment that literature and critical thinking can bring.
