About Me
I have over 20 years of teaching experience across five countries, including leading international schools and institutions in the UK. My main subject is Geography, but I have also taught Sociology, Anthropology, History, Philosophy and Global Politics.
I hold a Master’s degree from the University of Cambridge and a PhD from the University of Bath. Having taught in a range of schools and educational systems, including the IB and A-Level programmes, I understand that students learn in different ways and adapt my teaching accordingly.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy music, gym, food and travel, and I often draw on my experiences to bring subjects to life. Above all, I enjoy helping students develop their confidence, think critically and become genuinely interested in what they are learning.
Tutor Experience
I have experience teaching students aged 11-19, with a particular focus on the 14-19 age group. My approach is friendly, interactive and collaborative. I believe that developing a strong understanding of the subject is just as important as mastering exam technique, and I aim to help students build both.
I tailor each lesson to the individual student, focusing on their strengths, areas for improvement and personal goals. Whether it's tackling challenging content, improving exam technique or preparing for IB assessments, my aim is to build students' confidence, help them achieve their potential and develop the skills to become more independent learners.
