I'm Jon. Working through my exams opened doors to amazing opportunities such as studying Physics at Imperial and working at several AI start-ups, and I want to help you learn the strategies and get the results you're after. I've taught 100+ hours and have the experience to adapt to your situation and find the approach that works for you, regardless of the exam board and your target grade and level of confidence, across both maths and physics, and hopefully to share my enthusiasm for the subject along the way!
I have taught over 100 hours both on tutoring platforms and via word-of-mouth recommendations from satisfied students. I'm equally happy teaching lessons in person and online and I enjoy making use of online classrooms to teach where these are available. Students often ask me what they can expect if they take lessons with me, and the answer is that I adapt to each individual student. I can do anything your school can't do in the time allowed - whether that's more personalised support, bespoke questions that are tailored to the areas you want to improve, or going through past papers or mock tests that you've done in detail to identify the areas where you're tripping up and work on your exam technique. My guiding principle when tutoring is always to be clear on your goals, so I will always start by assessing what your current understanding is and areas for improvement, and what you're hoping to get out of tutoring. From there, I will tailor lessons to you to make sure we achieve those goals!
