I am a fully qualified Computer Science teacher currently teaching OCR GCSE and A - Levels Computer Science in a public school. I have curriculum experience of all major exam boards such as CIE, AQA & OCR etc. In addition, I also offer experience in curriculum and Scheme of work planning and with access to past exam papers.
In addition, I also have wealth of experience of working in the IT industry. This helps present a real-life aspects of computing problems & solution in my teaching and tutoring.
I have been tutoring and teaching for nearly 8 years. I have covered many cohorts of GCSE and A - Levels both a teacher and as a tutor.
I have extensive experience in tutoring using online platform such a Zoom and MS Teams.
I specialise in GCSE and A- Levels Computer Science and IT / ICT. In addition, I can also teach range of other related subject such as Business, Economics and Management.
I consider Student and Parent satisfaction as the most important factor in my lesson planning. This helps me prepare and deliver lessons with plenty of real and easy to understand examples which makes learning journey for student far easy even for the more challenging topics such as programming etc.Fully qualified and experienced tutor specialising in computer science at GCSE and A-Levels for all major exam boards.
My lesson is always action and objective-oriented and focus on the most important and essential learning needs of pupils. I set measurable goals, to ensure that student progress can be tracked from start to finish and to also ensure that new concepts are understood before moving on, and achievable considering the time available.
In addition, I provide step-by-step walkthrough of the lesson itself. In first section, I break down the lesson into individual learning activities, the mechanisms through which lesson is delivered and explain that what will happen during each learning activity.
