I’m a London-based American Psychology Professor and Yale PhD with a passion for teaching Research Methods, Statistics, SPSS, and Cognitive psychology at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These topics can be intimidating, so I enjoy making the material accessible and witnessing the “aha” moments students have as they master the skills. I also have documented success in supporting student applications to leading psychology master’s and PhD programs in the UK and the US, such as Oxford and Stanford.

As a cognitive psychologist and researcher, I’m passionate about understanding the mind -- why we think the way we do -- and how to harness this knowledge to make learning effective and fun. I love teaching the stuff psychology students usually dislike, like research methods and statistics. If that’s you, I’m committed to changing your mind.

This is a sample of quotes from students I've worked with:
“I am deeply grateful for the compassion and care you showed throughout the process. Your patience and steady presence helped more than I can say, and your guidance has left a lasting impression on me. You're an amazing teacher and I am grateful to be one of your students.”
M. Ramos, Psychology undergraduate student.
“I cannot thank you enough for all your advice and support re my PhD. It has been absolutely invaluable and given me so much positive direction and motivation to complete. You have been absolutely brilliant and I will miss you a lot.”
V. Mason, Psychology PhD student
“Thank you ever so much for all your kindness and outstanding support. I am currently the only one among all my friends who has submitted the ethics form early, and it is all because of you.”
N. Ikeagwu, Psychology MSc in Mental Health student
“Over the weekend, I used your seminar guide on how to conduct regression analyses in SPSS for an independent project I'm doing with a lecturer. I wanted to thank you for the guide - I'll probably have it saved on my laptop until I can do the analysis with my eyes closed.”
K. Maxwell, Psychology undergraduate student
