Having previously worked with children and young people, both in mental health services and in the community, I have now begun my PhD. I enjoy teaching others, particularly when it comes to psychology at every level. As I have previous training in mental health, my strengths include: resilience, patience, empathy, encouraging others and not taking life too seriously!
Teaching and supervising BSc and MSc students, including marking dissertations, running workshops on research methods and supervising student projects.
Tutoring since January 2020, including dissertation support, A level tutoring, CV writing and general academic writing.
Teaching assistant for 3 to 13 year olds at two different schools, with a particular focus on Maths and English.
Psychoeducation for young people with eating disorders, including anxiety management, combatting perfectionism and dealing with difficult emotions, all of which are important skills for education and exams.
