About Me
I am a dedicated and experienced educator with a strong commitment to fostering student-centered learning experiences. My background includes a Master of Science in Environmental Science, a PGCE in Secondary Science with emphasis on EAL and SEN practices, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, which has provided me with a unique interdisciplinary perspective.
My teaching philosophy, as demonstrated by my experience planning and delivering lessons, centers on empowering students to take ownership of their learning. I prioritize developing their critical thinking skills and promoting a deep understanding of concepts through engaging and accessible instruction.
Beyond my professional qualifications, I am passionate about environmental sustainability and have actively sought opportunities to promote conservation through my work and travels.

My teaching experience encompasses secondary science education in both the UK and the UAE, with a focus on creating innovative and effective learning environments.
In my roles as Secondary Science Head and Biology Teacher in the UAE, I taught science to students in Grades 6-12, both online and face-to-face. This involved building and managing the science department, developing cross-curricular resources, leading professional development workshops, and utilizing data to improve student outcomes. My approach emphasized collaboration, skills, and student support.
Earlier in my career, I gained experience teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) in Italy and Thailand. In Thailand, I taught English, Mathematics, and Science to 6th-8th grade students and prepared students for the TOEFL exams.
