Mark is a caring and knowledgeable tutor who does everything he can to make his students understand the subject matter. He also excels at simplifying difficult concepts (such as G-protein coupled receptors) and explains everything thoroughly. Mark has a vast knowledge of new developments in neuroscience and interesting tidbits that make the book and the field of neuroscience much more fascinating and easy to understand, for example, he gives real-life examples of the conditions that are explained in the book. Mark is adept at answering questions and always makes sure to ask if I have any, although after his thorough and clear explanations that rarely happens :).
