I have taken GMAT lessons for both math and verbal sections from Sam over the last few weeks. Having been away from studies for a long time, I needed a tutor, who is patient and knows the GMAT well. Sam meets the criteria successfully. He doesn't hesitate to patiently explain a concept from multiple angles to help me understand it better. After each lesson, I came back with a better understanding of the concepts tested and with more confidence in my abilities to perform well in the exam. Sam's adept understanding of the GMAT exam has been helpful, as it allows me to smartly focus on the areas that are important to score well. Sam's long experience in teaching the GMAT reflects during the lessons, as he helped me organize my studies to reduce stress, and balance studies with my other responsibilities. During my discussions with Sam, I realized that Sam is well aware about the admission requirements of most of the top business schools in the US and Europe. Many of his past students have completed their MBA from such schools. His insights have been helping me prepare for the application process. Sam is friendly, approachable, and genuinely wants his students to perform well. He makes you work hard during the preparation, but that is in the interest of his students. Sam is fair, flexible, prepares well before each lesson to help his students, and conducts his lessons with integrity. I could not have found a better tutor to prepare for the GMAT. I highly recommend Sam to anyone aiming to do well in the GMAT exam.

Originally a free 30-minute session was instead 1hr 15 minutes! Although partly due to fortunate timing. Dr. Johan was easy to connect with and engaged deeply with questions towards understanding how to help my specific topics/queries. Clear evidence of experience in tutoring due to the templates and examples shown, a variety of options were given to me and respectful explanations were given if necessary. I'm looking forward to my next session with him.
